Fran Ontanaya (Valencia, Spain, 1981) is a freelancer web developer, editor and writer. He studied English and screenwriting and worked as copywriter, proofreader and translator for the genre publisher La Factoría de Ideas. He has published more than thirty short stories since the year 2000, many featured in fantasy and science fiction anthologies and magazines. For the last six years he's been administrator of, one of the main fantasy, science fiction and horror communities in Spain. He is coeditor of the science fiction magazine InterNova, colaborates as transcriber and translator for TED - Talks Worth Spreading, maintains the Word Stats plugin for WordPress and moderates several online communities on Reddit and IRC. He also tries to promote interest in transhumanism, space exploration, philanthropy and independent publishing through the social networks.
