Born in Moscow, where I graduated in Computer Science from MPEI in 1992. Later I applied for a scholarship abroad and got an MPA from University of Lausanne, Switzerland and an MA in European Studies from University of Leuven, Belgium.

I‘ve been working at University of Leuven since 1997 consecutively as an international project coordinator, a departmental web developer and a software architect for the university CMS.

Since 2015: a committed "TEDdict" and a volunteer translator and transcriber for TED. Since 2016: language coordinator for the Russian section of the TED Translators. My mother tongue is Russian, I'm fluent in English, Dutch and Spanish and have a good working knowledge of French.
