I am 29 and I am a Turkish citizen.

I studied Business Administration (English) with a concentration in International Relations at Cukurova University; and Applied Languages (combined with Business) at the Polytechnical University of Valencia in Spain.

I have later become a certified translator-interpreter (English, Turkish and Spanish), then pursuing a TESOL certificate, taught several classes, including Turkish to native English speakers.

I have worked in a number of multicultural environments where strong communication skills and language precision were particularly important. Those include a recognized language institute and a UN field office.

I have been professionally working on languages for a long time and now pretty familiar with the TED Translation guidelines. I Would like to contribute from experience and help my fellow TED Translator friends with questions they might have, as well as elevating the translation quality for the Turkish community.
