Born in Karachi(undivided India, now Pakistan) in July 1936; migrated to India after partition in 1947. Educated in Vadodara( Gujrat State ) Mumbai & Pune( Maharashtra State ). Speak , read and write Marathi(mother tongue) English Hindi and Gujrati. Masters in Commerce with Cost Accountancy. Professional career spread over a period of 50 years. The areas of work --Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Company Law. Worked in service & manufacturing Industry. After retirement , working pro bono for NGOs. Currently, Hon. Director with International Longevity Centre-India,Pune. This NGO is working in the field of Gerantology.
