I am a visual artist who stumbled upon TED about two years ago, via a video posted on a blog that I encountered on a Google search. It was Benjamin Zanders talk, and I was pretty much instantly hooked. Not long after that, I started translating, and have learned a lot during my work for TED. Not only the enrichment of my world view that every talk offers, but i've also gone through a considerable learning curve where language and especially the process of crafting subtitles is concerned.
