My name is Angelika Lueckert, and I'm a volunteer TED translators and one of the German Language Coordinators. I was born in Peru to a Peruvian mother and a German father, but I grew up in Germany, where I live. I work at the faculty of architecture in Karlsruhe as instructor and research fellow. I have a Diploma in Architecture from the RWTH Aachen University and Master's Degree in Business Administration. My TED related background is that I joined the OTP in August, 2012 and have been asked to become a Language Coordinator in January, 2013. I have no formal translation background, but I have been working for an American company with English as corporate language. Apart from that I love languages and am very detail oriented and love searching for the exact expression.
