I was born in Romania. I am a physicist specialized in optics. Currently I live in Japan and work in education and research.

For the last couple of years I have contributed with subtitles for TED talks, mostly translations from English into Romanian, but I can also translate between other language pairs. I also have a little experience in transcribing talks. Here is my TED profile.

I am interested in many subjects related to science, technology, and arts, and I usually choose TED talks in those fields when I pick my translation tasks.
